2026 Singing Contest

The 2026 Singing Contest is open to high school, college-bound seniors from North Platte, West Platte, and Platte County R-3 High Schools. Contestants will perform at the June 13th evening, Summer Music Concert event in downtown Platte City on the Courthouse lawn. A sound system with a microphone will be provided. Winner is decided by an audience vote.

Grand Prize is a $500 College Scholarship funded by Harper Haus Music in Platte City. The funds are mailed directly from Friends of the Arts to the college financial aid department. Registration deadline is June 1st. First registration received from each high school is the applicant that will perform. Limit of 5 contestants.
