This page will inform you of the current locations in the community featuring local art appreciation displays organized and maintained by Platte City Friends of the Arts. If you are a local artist interested in having your art displayed on a rotating basis, please contact us by email at: PCFAVisualArts@gmailcom. The Visual Arts Committee Chair is Debbie Baker. Debbie will reply to explain the process and answer questions you might have.
In 2024, celebrating 25 years, Platte City Friends of the Arts gave to the City of Platte a new art display track system installed in the lobby of the new city hall. Exhibits are rotated every two months. Be sure to enjoy the displays including creations by local artists. The City Hall Lobby is located at 224 Marshall Road. Drop by between 9am and 5pm Monday through Friday (excluding federal holidays) for some local art appreciation.
