Enjoy the Community Band's Holiday Concert at 3pm featuring The Cody Choraliers.

The Platte City Friends of the Arts are pleased to welcome you to the winter Platte City Community Band concert “Sounds of Christmas” featuring The Cody Choraliers this Sunday, December 2nd at 3 p.m. at the Wilson Arts Center Platte County High School.

This free concert will bring home the holiday favorites and warm the heart with songs like Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Its Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas and many more all sung in four part A Cappella by The Cody Choraliers. The PC Community Band will perform sounds of the season under the direction of conductor Jim Edwards.

Leavenworth's Cody Choraliers have been entertaining folks with a cappella harmony in the Barbershop style for nearly 50 years. In April, under the direction of Lucas Pherigo, the Choraliers won the Central States Distict small chorus championship in Omaha, Nebraska.  In addition to the chorus, the chapter has several quartets that entertain local audiences and compete in barbershop contests.  Singing jazz, spiritual, patriotic, pop, and Christmas holiday tunes, the Choraliers harmonize and blend their voices to bring a song to the hearts of their listeners.
